Assistant Store Manager, Shift Supervisors and Shift leaders.
Working Conditions:
Brand required uniform.
May require lifting of heavy objects (cases of coffee, bags of sugar etc.
) Requires night and weekend work.
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for directing the daily operations of both a Dunkin.
Operates in accordance with mandatory policies and practices.
Ensures compliance with standards for customer relations, food costs, safety, sanitation, and product preparation and merchandising.
May participate in image-building activities within local community.
As highest management position within unit, is accountable for the unit and its operations at all times whether physically present or not.
Principally Duties and
Responsibilities:
Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all- inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned.
1.
Responsible for professional development of assistant managers, shift assistants and sales associates.
2.
Responsible for monitoring performance/customer service of store employees and handles discipline and terminations of store staff (when necessary) 3.
Responsible for Monthly Food Safety Assessments, monthly ROR, checking Red Book daily, Corporate visits.
4.
Interview and hire all new store employees using approved HR guidelines (along with GM) 5.
Train all new store employees (along with General Manager) 6.
Store Manager is responsible for ongoing training, floor and online, as needed regarding new products, promotions, policies etc.
7.
Ensure crew is up to date with Online University 8.
Ensure proper execution of new product introductions and marketing programs within store 9.
Compliance with all federal, state and local labor laws 10.
Complete weekly/biweekly food and paper inventory 11.
Complete DCP, Pepsi, Lottery, Resnick and other vendor orders weekly or as needed 12.
Complete finishing and throwaway sheets and provide to production facility daily making sure adjustments are made as needed.
13.
Complete daily cash management functions (cash reports, deposits etc.
) 14.
Complete weekly schedule for store personnel submitted to General Manager by Tuesday before schedule week.
15.
Responsible for achieving satisfactory scores on current Dunkin' Brands store assessments and surveys.
16.
Responsible for the daily maintenance of all equipment, stock areas, sales areas, building and grounds.
Job Specifications:
Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.
? 2+years in a food service/retail environment ? 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent work experience ? Judgment, tact, and diplomacy to effectively resolve conflicts ? Ability to use basic word processing and computer skills ? Certified Retail Managers training, English Language proficiency, and Food Handler Certification.
? Ability to work well with others ? Good communication skills Job Type:
